Abstract

In order to evaluate ICPs, criteria for success must be identified. The key areas to consider are quality of patient care, staff and patient satisfaction, documentation and cost. Commitment, resources, desire and need, facilitation and management also have an impact. The role of the ICP facilitator is vital to a project's success.
